John earned a BS from Ball State University in Accounting.  After being an Insurance Premium Auditor for two years, he returned to Ball State and earned his teaching certificate in Business Education, Vocational Business Certification, and MAE in Secondary Education.  John taught two years at Tucker Area Career Center as the ICE Coordinator and Computer Programming Lab Instructor.  For the last eleven years, he has taught at Hagerstown Junior-Senior High School, his alma mater.   Currently, he teaches Accounting I & II and Business Technology Lab; coordinates the interns; and serves as the Business Department Chair, Business Professionals of America (BPA) Advisor, High Schools That Work Site Coordinator and Professional Development Specialist for his corporation.  He also is adjunct faculty at IUPUI and serves on the Indiana BPA Executive Board and Griffith Insurance Education Foundation Advisory Council.  He enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with his family.

Mike Feagans earned a BS from Ball State University in Business Education. He then obtained his masters degree in Education Leadership from Purdue University. He has taught his first six years at West Lafayette Jr/Sr High School and has just completed his 11th year at Rensselaer Central High School. At RCHS, Mike has been the head boys basketball coach, and freshmen class sponsor. He is the sponsor of Fellowship of Christian Students, and teaches Marketing and 7th grade social studies. Mike has a daughter Courtney, who is a freshmen at RCHS and a son, Jacob (JT), who is a fifth grader at Van Elementary.  He stays busy by doing devotions, being with his kids, playing golf and hanging out with family and friends.  He is really excited about teaching students to be leaders and the RCHS footprint program which encourages businesses to go green.

 Amber Reed earned a BS from Indiana University South Bend in Marketing with a concentration in Advertising. She then obtained her teaching certification in Business Education from Bethel College and her M.A.E in Business Education with vocational endorsement from Ball State University. She taught her first year at South Bend John Adams High School, and just completed her 5th year at Bremen High School. At BHS, Amber is the STUCO Advisor, Spell Bowl Coach, and the DECA Advisor. She is the ICE Coordinator at Bremen, and teaches 8th Grade Keyboarding, Marketing, Desktop Publishing, and Web Design. Amber’s two sons keep her busy as well as her photography business and also enjoys scrapbooking.

Jason Hendrickson attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana where he majored in Business Education and minored in Information Processing.  He currently has been teaching in the Danville Community School Corporation for five years, serving as a business educator in the Business/Technology Department.  He has been responsible for the marketing program, school bookstore, and their local Business Professionals of America chapter.  He also serves as the Auditorium Director for the high school.  Since starting his career he has served on many local committees, and has served on the Indiana Business Education Association and Business Professionals of America, Indiana Association executive boards.  His research studies include curriculum development and career and technical education.  He is finishing work on a Masters in Career and Technical Education.  In his spare time he enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Michelle currently teaches marketing at Westfield High School where she has taught for over five years.  She was awarded the Outstanding New Advisor for the DECA student organization. Before teaching at Westfield, Michelle taught in Iowa for seven years.  She completed her BA at Grand View College there and her Master’s from Vitero University in Wisconsin.

Karen has served as the department chair at Westfield High School for 13 years.  Her primary teaching areas include web design, programming, and computer applications.  She earned a BA in business education from Goshen College in 1995 and her MS in education from IUK in 2009.  Karen has served on the IBEA board for six years as the web master and for two years as a regional representative.  Her professional memberships are IBEA, NBEA, ISTA, and her local teacher’s association.  Karen received the Ilpalco Golden Apple in 2000 and the Entrepreneurship Consortium Scholarship in 2007.

Becky Milner graduated from Indiana State University December 2008.  She is currently an Interpreter at Forest Park Elementary School, while still looking for a teaching position.  Throughout her career at ISU, she was active with both Business Professionals of America and Pi Omega Pi.  Becky has served on various committees and held many leadership roles ranging from President to Parliamentarian.  While participating in Business Professionals of America, Becky achieved both State and National honors.  With Pi Omega Pi, she most recently served as Chapter President and presented at two Pi Omega Pi/NBEA Conferences.  In her spare time, she enjoys learning sign language, spending time with family/friends, swimming, traveling, and watching sports.

Linda attended Ball State University and received B.S. in Business Education and M.S. in Education with Vocational Endorsement from Butler University.  She taught Business Education at Tri-West High School for 26 years, retiring in 2004.  Linda sponsored cheerleaders and BPA chapter for several years.  She has been a member of IBEA, NBEA, and IACTE for several years.  Linda has been the secretary for IBEA for several years and Membership Chairperson for several years.  In her free time, Linda’s retired activities include working in the Gift Shop at Beef and Boards Dinner Theater, volunteering in several areas at Connection Pointe Christian Church of Brownsburg, reading, walking, traveling, swimming, and having lunch with friends.

Eric was born in Columbus, Indiana and attended Columbus North High School. He went to college at the University of New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana. Eric survived Hurricane Katrina and graduated with two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Entrepreneurship the other in management. After graduating he accepted a position at the Indiana Department of Education in the Office of Educator Licensing. In August 2010 Eric became the Business, Marketing and IT Career Preparation Specialist in the Division of College and Career Preparation. I am very excited about my new position and look forward to helping all the Business, Marketing and IT teachers.
